BYinnovation Procurement Magazine 2007/12
The first issue has gone to the readers!
It was indeed a test bench applying the first ideas of a new way of publishing information related to communication and linked to the laws of the market. This was especially so since, nowadays, nothing can give real added value if it does not have concrete commercial bases.
We put into words and images years of work experiences in the many sectors related to business to business supply. We always kept in mind that all of us have something to learn and something to offer our own clients as references. Some sectors are more mature while others are less so. However, transversal communication can help everyone, buyers, and sellers alike, to work a little more easily.
Our first edition was filled with many little novelties and many small errors. But, that is what an acid test is designed to do.
Now for issue Number 2!
In between publications, we organised BY Innovation Day in Milan. We played around with this title and used the word “Day”, which is in fashion in Italy, at present.
But we did not play around with the content!
This second issue of the magazine further concretises its original premises by presenting the state of the art of the market reported in the comments of prestigious “rapporteurs”, who had been present at the Milan Meeting. This issue is rather like a manifesto of the “cultural” content of the project. (Please excuse us for using such an engaging word!)
The guidelines can be synthesised into six concepts:
Competitiveness(continuous improvement so as to be better than the competition); Globalisation(dealing with parochialism and individualism. Continuous confrontation with the world is characterised by just a few remaining limits and those are primarily limits of the mind); Humanisation(work and technology should be at the service of the people-not vice-versa); Innovation (having the courage to take risks and invest in new ideas); Partnership and Sharing (evaluating work as a team); Sustainability (keeping in mind that we interact with sensitive social and natural external environments).
These six values have been put into alphabetical order. They are however, equally important!
Enjoy our second issue!
Happy 2008 to you all!
Nel frattempo abbiamo organizzato il BY Innovation Day.
