FlixBus racconta i viaggi in autobus attraverso gli occhi degli autisti. Raccontare il mondo dei viaggi in autobus dalla prospettiva degli autisti, valorizzandone il contributo e facendo luce sull’evoluzione di questa figura nel tempo.
E’ quanto ha voluto fare FlixBus con FlixStars Day, l’evento di premiazione che ha coinvolto sei conducenti in servizio sugli autobus verdi.
Durante la cerimonia, sono stati premiati sei conducenti FlixBus per sei categorie specifiche:
– The Super Kiddo, l’ultimo arrivato sulle linee FlixBus;
– The Globetrotter, per chi ha toccato più città estere;
– The Sun Lover, per chi ha fatto più turni diurni;
– The Night Owl, per chi ha fatto più turni notturni;
– The Marathon Runner, per chi ha registrato più km;
– The Master, per un membro storico.
Un momento per ricordare il lavoro di chi ogni giorno opera il servizio, evidenziando attraverso i suoi racconti un lavoro che è cambiato e continuerà a mutare veste, ma rimarrà perno centrale di un’esperienza di viaggio confortevole e indimenticabile. Lo si evince dalle parole di Federica Bocchinfuso, vincitrice della categoria The Sun Lover, che ha deciso di avventurarsi in una professione ancora percepita dai più come esclusivamente maschile e che alla fine di ogni corsa riceve i complimenti per la sua guida anche dai passeggeri più dubbiosi nel vedere una donna al volante. O da quelle di Massimiliano Salis, vincitore della categoria The Globetrotter, che trovandosi di fronte a una scolaresca in gita ha reso indimenticabile l’esperienza di un alunno con sindrome di Down regalandogli il sogno di assisterlo nella fase di check-in. E in quelle di Maurizio Severino, vincitore della categoria The Marathon Runner, che ogni volta che riaccompagna a casa gli studenti fuorisede riceve i ringraziamenti dei familiari.
L’evento è stato anche occasione per fotografare, attraverso gli occhi di chi ogni giorno opera il servizio, la situazione attuale del settore, oggi penalizzato proprio dalla carenza di conducenti. In Italia, ANAV stima tale mancanza in almeno 8.000 unità, mentre in Europa, secondo IRU, i posti di lavoro vacanti nel 2023 ammontavano a 105.000, pari al 10% del totale. Una situazione, questa, che rischia di ostacolare la piena operatività di un servizio cruciale per la mobilità in Italia, sia per la sua transizione ecologica sia per la libertà di movimento di migliaia di persone residenti in aree non toccate dalla ferrovia.
Per frenare questa tendenza, appare più che mai fondamentale valorizzare la figura del conducente, individuando occasioni di confronto con i veri protagonisti del servizio per restare informati sulle esigenze loro e di chi viaggia nel contesto di un mercato in continua evoluzione e in crescita costante. A questo scopo, la formazione è destinata a svolgere un ruolo fondamentale.
«Un tempo, l’autista era visto come un semplice conducente, responsabile solo della guida del veicolo. In seguito, con l’avvento delle nuove tecnologie e l’evoluzione dei sistemi di trasporto, il suo ruolo è diventato sempre più complesso. Soprattutto nell’ambito di un servizio ogni giorno più internazionale e trasversale alle categorie sociali, alle competenze operative tradizionali se ne sono via via affiancate altre, come quelle relazionali e linguistiche, oltre che tecnologiche. Per poter rispondere al meglio alle esigenze del pubblico odierno, è sempre più necessario compiere il passaggio dall’autista di ieri al professionista qualificato di oggi: in questo, la formazione si conferma una risorsa cruciale», ha affermato Andrea Incondi, Managing Director di FlixBus Italia in un breve panel introduttivo all’evento.
Già nel 2019, in linea con questa visione FlixBus aveva lanciato il percorso di formazione FlixAcademy, la prima accademia specializzata nella formazione di autisti per la lunga percorrenza, con l’inserimento dei partecipanti nelle proprie aziende partner a fine percorso e l’acquisizione di nozioni ulteriori come quelle di inglese di base o problem solving.
La seconda edizione dell’Academy, prevede gli stessi benefici per gli iscritti, è partita nel 2023 in collaborazione con l’azienda partner Cialone Tour. Il percorso, interamente gratuito, contempla 140 ore in autoscuola e una fase di formazione frontale su aree specifiche, seguite da 130 ore di training on the job con affiancamenti e ore di tirocinio, di gruppo e individuali.
«Siamo orgogliosi di aver lavorato con FlixBus all’Academy, permettendo a chi lo desidera di avvicinarsi alla professione dell’autista di autobus e contribuendo a mitigare gli effetti della carenza di personale in questo settore. Con la classe di quest’anno, stiamo formando dieci conducenti che prevediamo di integra-re nel nostro organico a partire da maggio. Siamo soddisfatti degli obiettivi raggiunti ad oggi, e speriamo di poter replicare anche in futuro. Inoltre, con una politica di welfare aziendale, cercheremo di aumentare l’appeal in questo settore per i giovani», ha detto Massimiliano Cialone, Consigliere di Amministrazione e Legale Rappresentante di Cialone Tour Spa.
