Connected App Service Requests: CARL Software, European leader in CMMS and Technical Asset Management reinforces its position of leading provider of innovative solutions with the launch of CARL Flash, a new Web App for service requests designed for the general public.
The publisher stands out once again by its capacity to design an innovative application in terms of usage, graphic quality and ergonomics, inspired by mainstream social media standards. This new App follows CARL Touch, CARL Software previous mobile solution dedicated to field technicians granted with an Innovation winning Award in 2013.
CARL Flash: A Web App designed for the general public:
CARL Flash enables users of assets, equipment or public areas to contact the technical services responsible for maintenance and operations, directly from their mobile device. It is very simple to use since CARL Flash can be installed by scanning a QR Code and works on all available operating systems (iOS, Android and Windows).
Users take an active role in maintenance operations of their surroundings:
By using this new application users take an active role in the process of maintenance operations of their surroundings. CARL Flash ensures permanent access to a range of services, such as reporting a malfunction, damage or vandalism and allows them to submit and track requests for services, maintenance work, new work etc. Thus, occupants of a building, the citizens of a local authority, healthcare units (nurses, doctors and visitors) in a hospital, production line workers, and customers of after-sales service departments can interact with technical services and get a real-time view of the status of their requests.
Immediate benefits for technical services
With CARL Flash, technical services have a digital traceability of service requests which speeds up their processing. The application simplifies the handling of these requests and avoids that multiple requirements be made for the same issue, it also makes it easier to detect urgent requests when the same problem is reported several times. As and when requests are processed by technical services, their progress are communicated directly to the issuer which limits unnecessary requests.
The requester takes an active responsibility in the process, since by using CARL Flash he can accept or reject the works. By facilitating the communication between requesters and technical services, CARL Flash participates in the appreciation for the service rendered by technical services and to their contribution to the well-being and safety of all.
