The European Startup Network will meet again in Startup Ole 2017 on 26-27 April in Salamanca, Spain. The members of Accelerators Assembly, Universities network, Investors Forum, Nations Forum, Cities network, Corporates and of course many of the 716 startups who have benefited from Startup Europe will be networking and making deals during Startup Ole.
More than 2000 participants are expected.
Startup Ole is special because it is very much focused on Deep Tech startups (AI, IoT, VR,..) and Hardware startups (drones, cars,..). In addition, it is the moment when all Startup Europe networks meet, share ideas and decide to launch joint EU wide initiatives.
A great opportunity to meet Startup Europe Week founders or Startup Europe Awards Alliance of organisers.
This edition is innovative because for the first time there will be a group of startups and investors from our Eastern neighbours (Armenia, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Byelorussia, Ukraine and Georgia).
There will be also a big representation from Latam, including representatives from Startup Chile, Brasil, Colombia, Panama. And the existing network to build bridges with Africa and India.
The international aspects of Startup Europe are being reinforced.
The European Startup Network was established in September of 2016. We have since grown from a handful of national associations to covering almost all of Europe, at 38 organizations in our network, plus countless partners with whom we work to complement internal expertise. We help startups to scale, represent them to European policymakers, and connect them to corporates and investors, among other activities.
