Milan Design Week: Sacea Salone del Mobile 2014, be walking to the halls, visiting showrooms, shops, taking part in conferences, you will make thousands of phone calls, quarrel with your smartphone to find locations around the city…
The question is: Where do you recharge this year?
The answer is: a 13 meter long inflatable sofa on which relax, a cold drink, a chance to recharge yourself and your phone and our Recharging Kit. At 17th Via Solferino, in the courtyard of the of Architects Association, the Sacea Recharging Zone is ready to welcome and recharge you and the batteries of your technological devices.
THE PROJECT
The concept is the same that, last year, had a great success: the Sacea Recharging Zone. An area of “charging” and relax set up with products Sacea (used in an unconventional way) and open to those who, during the most intense Milan look to an island of relax and recharge. The space is divided into two areas: one with electrified round tables to which to connect and recharge electronic devices (smartphones, tablets and PCs) and ten iPad with internet connection to be able to navigate and that will also serve to show the new technology platform of the company: the Sacea Virtual Reality.
The second one is a relaxation area where you can sit on a 13 meters long sofa lounge inflatable. One part is also set up in collaboration with 3M Architectural Markets that presents a preview of the New Collection 3M DI-NOC 2014-2016: 240 new finishes, for a total of more than 700 patterns available in the market.
The whole area is Wi-Fi free and will be offered water (thanks to Norda), tea, juice and fresh fruit: apples and oranges (thanks to Orto e Gusto). For the people that are accredited there is a “survival kit” to better address the “hard” but beautiful design week in Milan, which, among other things, contains a facial oxygenating oil (thanks to Delarom Paris)
We therefore propose a young and informal place, an entertaining space, full of technology and design, “playing” with our standard products. The partition wall Bablò, removed from his frame becomes a big sofa and the meeting tables Land3 become the stations to chat, exchange ideas, and surf the web.
This year the Fuorisalone, for us, is also the occasion to present the Sacea App: Tip tool of the new platform “Sacea Virtual Reality” which also includes a Virtual Reality Simulator and a 3D viewer online. All elements designed and developed to provide a service to the designers: make them easier and convincing the “realistic presentation” of the project. With Sacea App you always have with you the Sacea products catalog, the related 3D models and the possibility to view them in Augmented Reality.

Brera Design District in 2014 For the second year, Sacea takes part at Fuorisalone inside the Brera Design District, which this year is in its fifth edition and proposes the theme “Be District: make connections, communicate innovation.” Creating connections to exchange synergistic, to put together: businesses, professionals, town, tradition, institutions, culture, and join forces to create richer content and products. However, the period between the creation of a new product, the addition of value to the existing ones and their commercial launch is always shorter. The message that want to transmit this edition is to promote the development of generative systems that have an endless ability to connect users and allow them to create new values and products.
